Museum Bramberg
Temporarily closedTake the time to immerse yourself in a world which leads you back into the past, back to our roots and the history of our forefathers.
The Bramberg Museum has been housed in the Wilhelmgut, one of the oldest houses in Bramberg, since 1979. The development of the local history collection began at the end of 1920 and is constantly being expanded. A colour guide system guides you through the collections so that you can easily find your way as a visitor.
Exhibition “Emeralds and Crystals” (in the lower part of the house)
Emeralds, rock crystals, fluorite, titanite, adularia, epidote – many minerals in a small area.
Exhibition “People and their Culture” (in the upper part of the house)
Here you can learn more about the history of the House of Wilhelmgut, about life in the emerald village of Bramberg at that time, about religious folk art and about the varied flora and fauna of the region.
Exhibition Beekeeping with a living bee live
Along with many old beekeeping artefacts there is a lot of information about beekeeping and also a film about the life cycle and work of bees.
